Winemaker's Notes: This native of the Piedmont region of Italy has given us a wine with a bit of cherry, light leathery notes, oak background flavors, all balanced by nice acidity, Pairs well with tomato based pasta sauces as well as grilled foods like mesquite grilled chicken, pork, or vegetables.
