Mount Palomar Limited Reserve Port

Winemaker's Notes: Made from Zinfandel and Petite Sirah from our estate vineyards, the Port is fermented like a red wine, then fortified with high proof brandy resulting in an exceptional wine with diversity and finesse. Dark in color with ripe fruit and berry flavors. Our Limited Reserve Port is spicy with some oak accent and a smooth, mellow finish. Many people enjoy this Port as an after-diner drink, or with walnuts and strong cheeses such as Stilton, Gorgonzola, Roquefort, mature Cheddar, and aged Gouda. This wine is a perfect aperitif and goes well with cigars and chocolate truffles.
