Ponte Family 1997 Belmonte Sangiovese

Winemaker's Notes: These grapes are grown specifically for the ponte winery at the Belomonte vineyard. Deep cherry color, aromas of currants, raspberries, and hints of tobacco and leather in the nose. Classic Sangiovese structure with bold, well integrated fruit, tannin, and acidity. Flavor combinations of black fruits and slightly earthy tones. Seamless and medium finish. This wine is delicious now, and will continue to age gracefully.
