Winemaker's Notes: As a variety, the origins of Zinfandel are somewhat shrouded in mystery; its complete origin is unknown. What is known however, is the Zinfandel is one of the first recognized varietals that is uniquely American. It quenched the thirst of Californian's native cintribution to the international world of wine. Rich berry character, with layers of spice and choclate frame this big red wine. A part of the old west and apart from the rest, Zinfandel is truly Eureka!
