Filsinger Winery Filsinger Vineyard and Winery was first opened in 1980, six years after Dr. Bill Filsinger and his late wife Kathy purchased thirty-five acres in the Temecula Valley. Having retired from his medical practice in 1997, he has become an award winning winemaker. He was also the first winemaker in the valley to produce Gewurztraminer, a wine that was produced by his ancestors in Germany. In 1986 the winery started producing sparkling wines using the “methode champenoise”. It is also the only winery in the valley to produce Orange Muscat, a delicious, refreshing dessert wine. This winery is still family owned and operated. It hosts a homey, friendly tasting room. |
