SUPREME COURT RULING UPDATE WITH STEVEN GROSS OF THE WINE INSTITE.
Very informative!With all the new activity in Wine Country and at
Temecula Wines OnLine from east coast "online" customers,
particularly due to the ruling, and fueled by the "Tastings" column
in the Wall Street Journal on June 17th, we get an in depth update
on the affects of the ruling. Steve Gross, Director of State
Relations, for the San Francico based Wine Instite, is the foremost
expert on this subject. Steve gives us a state by state overview of
where things are legislatively, at this time, relative to the
legalities of internet ordering and shipping since the May 2005
ruling

article in its' entirety. Published on June 17th as part of the
ongoing weekly WSJ column, "Tastings", written by authors Dorothy
Gaiter and John Brecher. "Dottie and John", as they refer to
themselves, are the authors of "Wine for Every Day and Every
Occasion," "Love by the Glass: Tasting Notes from a Marriage" and
"The Wall Street Journal Guide to Wine." A complete revision of that
book, called "The New and Improved Wall Street Journal Guide to
Wine," was published in September 2002. We will air this show twice,
in preparation for Dottie and John to join us live from New York on
July 9th and 16th! They will give us a radio version of their
article "Wines That Really Know Their Place: Temecula
Valley Shows Us Value of Thinking Small; A Surprise for Napa Fans",
and in the second show, we will explore their three books on
wine!
